Veteran Bridge Vice President returns to Chicagoland after five years of leading its acquisitions and leasing efforts in New Jersey and the Northeast

CHICAGO (April 7, 2022) – Bridge Industrial (“Bridge”), the privately-owned, vertically integrated real estate operating company and investment manager, announced today that it has appointed Jonathan Pozerycki to Partner, Chicago Region. Effective immediately, Pozerycki will lead and oversee Bridge’s acquisition, leasing, development, and construction activity across the entire Chicagoland region.

Pozerycki will be relocating to Chicago from New Jersey, where he was Vice President of Investments, playing a leading role in bolstering and expanding Bridge’s development, acquisition and disposition pipelines throughout the Northeast. He will phase out of his New Jersey projects over the next four months while transitioning to the Chicago market in place of Nick Siegel, who was recently promoted to Partner, Acquisitions.

“Chicago is an important market for Bridge, where we maintain our headquarters and pride ourselves in being one of the region’s leading commercial real estate firms. While Jon began his career with us in Chicago, he has since succeeded in growing our New Jersey portfolio from a fledgling regional expansion to a dominant East Coast player with a best-in-class portfolio,” said Steve Groetsema, Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Bridge Industrial. “Jon’s unmatched skills and knowledge of both our business and the Chicago market made him an ideal choice for this position.”

After joining Bridge’s Chicago office in 2015 as an analyst, Pozerycki eventually transferred to the New Jersey market in 2017, where he moved into the Vice President and associate market officer role. Throughout his time at Bridge, Pozerycki has been involved and assisted in the development and acquisition of transactions totaling more than 15.4 million square feet across New Jersey and the Northeast, valued at over $3.3 billion.

“Chicago is where I began my career in real estate, and bringing my years of experience back to lead Bridge’s Chicago operations is a true privilege,” said Pozerycki. “As Bridge expands its focus to include value-add activities in addition to ground-up development, I’m excited to reconnect with the Chicago broker network and continue Bridge’s legacy of meeting the skyrocketing demand for state-of-the-art industrial warehouses across Chicagoland.”

Prior to his role with Bridge, Pozerycki served as an analyst for the development and investment departments at CenterPoint Properties located in Chicago. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, and thereafter pursed a Business Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. He is also an active member of NAIOP.
