Construction on Bridge Point Summit and Bridge Point Bedford Park II Will Begin in Q1 2025

Chicago, IL: Bridge Industrial, a privately-owned, vertically integrated real estate operating company and investment manager, recently announced two site acquisitions in Summit and Bedford Park within Cook County. Once completed, the proposed developments situated just thirty minutes from the city of Chicago, will deliver state-of-the-art, energy efficient industrial buildings that will serve residents across the city with critical last mile delivery, access to goods, and economic opportunity. Construction on both projects is slated to begin in Q1 2025, with project delivery anticipated in Q1 2026.

Bridge Point Summit, a roughly 21-acre site, located 15 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, will comprise an approximately 340,000 square feet, Class A LEED certified industrial facility.

Bridge Point Bedford Park II is a roughly 6.6-acre site located within Bedford Park, a core-infill Cook County location 13 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, and directly south of Midway International Airport. Plans are currently underway to construct an approximately 140,000 square feet, Class A industrial LEED certified facility. Bridge Industrial successfully transacted with three separate sellers to assemble the 5 parcels that make up the site.

“Cook County offers an unparalleled opportunity to invest in highly desirable, versatile sites that align with both our strategic business goals and provide critical infrastructure for the residents of Chicago,” explained Jon Pozerycki, Partner, Chicago Region, Bridge Industrial. “The sites’ proximity to the city and access to major roadways and airports will allow us to create lucrative economic opportunities for future tenants and communities.”

Both projects will feature modern, industrial warehouses with 36-foot clear height, exterior dock doors, drive-in doors, trailer parking stalls, and car parking stalls. The sites will be designed in accordance with LEED Certified Standards. The flexible design of these buildings will cater to a range of user needs and a wide variety of tenant types seeking modern, Class A space located in Cook County and close to Chicago.
