Inflation and interest rates jumped and the stock market slipped into bear market territory in the second quarter. A recession could be on the horizon. But the market for warehouse space? It’s never been better.

The vacancy rate for industrial real estate in the Chicago area fell to an all-time low of 4.58% in the second quarter, down from the previous record of 4.91% in the first quarter, according to Colliers International.
