Eight years ago, Bridge Development Partners was a non-entity in South Florida. Today, the Chicago-based company is one of the largest industrial developers in the region, with 2.5 million square feet completed since 2012 and an additional 2 million square feet under construction.
The company has acquired 362 acres in Miami-Dade and Broward since 2012, Carroll said. Its current projects are in Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Miramar and Miami Gardens.
It has been especially successful in finding infill development sites near major highways in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, even if those properties need significant remediation.
